Meet our 2018 Summer Interns

Demarcus Brookins

Demarcus is a senior at Ball State University who majors in telecommunications and journalism and is from Indianapolis, Indiana where he attended North Central High School. Demarcus has always been active in multimedia creation and news. Among his many involvements at Ball State, he has anchored Newslink Indiana, a student run daily newscast, for four years. He has also been a guest on numerous other student media programs with the university including WCRD live at 5 newscasts as well as Waking Up with Cardinal Weather. Demarcus also has professional experience working for Fox59/CBS4 in Indianapolis as photographer for a year. At the station he was tasked with filming highlights for the sports department as well as being the camera man for various breaking events around Indianapolis. After the internship Demarcus hopes to secure a full-time job in the news industry.

 

Nicholas Mooney

Nick is a 21-year-old Communication Studies student at Ball State University. He is from Evansville, Indiana and loves his home state with a passion. In his free time, Nick enjoys watching and playing basketball, listening to music, and spending quality time with friends and family. He also has a love for professional wrestling and Marvel Comics. Nick is an excited and ambitious intern, looking to utilize his skillset in any way possible to assist with Kids Riding Bikes.”

 

 

Will Davis

Will is currently a senior at Ball State University, with plans to graduate in December with a Bachelors in Sport Administration. Prior to Ball State, he attended Earlham College for one year to play Football.  Will was born in Indianapolis and currently lives in Westfield. He has a passion for sports, both teaching and including others. In his spare time he enjoys music and the beach.
