INDIANAPOLISNovember 15, 2016 ─ Indianapolis home builder Arbor Homes and Nine13sports have extended their partnership for a third year to bring the nationally recognized Kids Riding Bikes programs to schools across Central Indiana.

During the past two years of the partnership, Nine13sports has delivered their interactive and unique bicycle simulator programming to more than 2,000 youth in Washington and Pike Township as part of their physical education classes. The third year of the partnership will include the youth health and fitness nonprofit focusing on bringing programs to new schools and districts throughout Central Indiana, including Warren Township.

“Kids Riding Bikes has created more than 7,000 positive youth interactions in Washington and Pike Townships since late 2014 thanks to the astounding leadership and philanthropic support of Arbor Homes,” said Tom Hanley, Founder & CEO of Nine13sports. “We’re incredibly fortunate that they’ve once again extended their generosity to help us get more youth on two wheels and to recognize the importance of living a healthy and physically active lifestyle.”

Nine13sports anticipates it’s number of youth interactions to quadruple in 2017 to upwards of 30,000 from the 7,500 it has delivered since the nonprofit’s launch in 2012. Funding has been generated through corporate partners and foundations and all services have been provided at no costs to schools and districts.

“Nine13sports has continued to reach for new heights and deliver engaging and stimulating programs to students and schools unlike any other,” said Curtis Rector, president of Arbor Homes. “We’re privileged to extend our corporate support and to continue building on the everlasting and tangible impact they’re making to youth across the Central Indian region.”
