SmilesThis past Thursday, we wrapped up our second week of programming with 6th grade students at Guion Creek Middle School. This is the second year we’ve brought our Kids Riding Bikesâ„  programming to Pike Township and we couldn’t be happier with the experience and the relationships we’ve built with the teachers and students. Up to this point, the 192 students have pedaled an impressive, and rather lengthy, 270 miles on our bikes. While on our bikes, they’ve persevered and challenged one another to complete each individual course that they have in front of them. This resiliency and teamwork is what we attempt to cultivate into the lives of our youth on a daily basis. We’re excited to continue displaying the importance and magnitude of these life skills to the students over the next two weeks.

The opportunity to bring our programming to these students in Pike Township is because of the philanthropic vision and leadership of the amazing people over at Arbor Homes. Thank you so much for not only everything you do for Nine13sports, but the thousands of students that we’re honored to have on our bikes because of your commitment to getting kids to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle.
