Boys & Girls Club Blog

Can’t wait to get kids moving on our bikes for the next six weeks at the BGCI!

Kids Riding Bikes® will begin its fifth year of summer programming at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis next week! Our staff and interns will be visiting two units that we’ve frequented in the past, as well as two new units for the next six weeks starting on Monday. The two units that we’ve delivered our programming to before that we’ll be back at this summer are LeGore and Keenan Stahl. Moreover, Lilly and Finish Line are the units that we’re excited to be at for the first time. We’re exhilarated to have the chance to get kids moving and active on two wheels at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis. Additionally, we’ll be rolling out our entry/exit survey next week to gather data regarding the bicycle habits and views of the children. Check out more information about the survey in our blog post from last week — Nine13sports to Conduct Survey at Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis to Gather Data Regarding Children’s Bicycle Habits & Views.

Our presence and the opportunity to have a significant and influential impact on upwards of 300 Boys & Girls Club youth is thanks to the generosity and leadership of the Finish Line Youth Foundation, the Lids Foundation, the Indianapolis Foundation, and the Lilly Endowment. We can’t thank you enough for the chance to get our youth of Central Indiana healthier and to embrace an active and fit lifestyle!
