For the third straight summer, our Kids Riding Bikes® launched at the Junior Achievement of Central Indiana’s Biztown Summer Camp. JA of Central Indiana is one of the most recognizable and established non-profits in town and having the opportunity to serve their youth is a tremendous honor for our staff. The camp is a fresh alternative for our youth and it’s devoted to topics such as entrepreneurship and philanthropy and JA does a remarkable job engaging the kids with experiential learning opportunities.
After finishing up our first week of camp last week, we’ll be working with three more rotations of summer camp participants over the course of the next few weeks. We’ll be at the JA Biztown location tomorrow and once again on July 14th and July 28th. Our staff enjoys getting the campers moving on our bikes, showcasing to them the importance of health and fitness, and how exercise can improve their cognitive thinking and overall well-being. It’s been well-documented that a regularly active and healthy lifestyle can lead to improved work performance and can stimulate your brain to help you perform at a higher level.
We want to give a shout-out to Lauren Scheldrup for creating this opportunity for us to partner with Junior Achievement of Central Indiana. We wouldn’t have the privilege of serving these youth and educating them on what it means to live a healthy and active lifestyle without your leadership and vision.
We can’t wait to be back on Achievement Blvd. tomorrow!
