On Monday afternoon, our programming concluded at Stephen C. Foster School 67 on the west side of Indianapolis. We were able to deliver our Kids Riding Bikes® programming to more than 150 IPS students over the past four weeks, ranging from Kindergartners all the way up to 6th graders. The focus of our programming at School 67 was to demonstrate to the students how imperative health and fitness is, as well how it can engage the students socially and improve their overall well-being. Moreover, our approach included the traditional focus of educating them on the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and confidence. As we’ve seen time and time again, all of this an be accomplished with our favorite mode of transportation on two wheels, the bicycle.
Once again, our time serving the youth of IPS was filled with joy and satisfaction as we witnessed kids experience the genuine enthusiasm and happiness that bike riding generates. The kids, along with the teachers and administrators at Stephen C. Foster School 67, were fantastic to work with and we’re privileged to have served your school over the past month. We look forward to working with you again soon in the near future!
