This upcoming Wednesday, July 20th, we’re excited to announce that Kids Riding Bikes® will be at the Hendricks Regional Health Sponsor Day at the Hendricks County 4-H Fair! Our programming will be a part of the Tour de Hendricks from 12:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. and our booth will be one of the 15 stops along the tour. This interactive tour will feature various stops along the route where kids and families will visit with various HRH departments and partners for a free health and fitness education! Kids and their families will visit our booth, conquer our quarter of a mile course, and then get a stamp or signature before turning in their passports for some great prizes.

All of these students at Avon MS North raised their hand when asked how of many of them still rode their bike!
Our partnership with Hendricks Regional Health originated in October 2015 to bring the innovative youth bicycle fitness programming created by Nine13 to eight schools in Hendricks County in 2016. This past spring, hundreds of students at Brownsburg East/West Middle Schools and Avon Middle School North engaged in our stationary bicycle simulators within their physical education class. Additionally, this upcoming fall we’ll be running our programming at schools in the towns of Plainfield and Danville. We’re thrilled to educate the community about the multitude of ways Hendricks Regional Health has impacted our organization and are looking forward to getting hundreds of more Hendricks County students on our bikes this fall!
