What a week it was for Kids Riding Bikesâ„ ! This past week we had the pleasure of getting more than 400 students on our bikes and promoting the countless benefits of health and wellness. Moreover, we expressed to them the significance of practicing teamwork, self-confidence, and perseverance. In addition, we talked about just how important wearing a helmet is for their safety whenever they ride their bike. The schools we served this week include: Central Nine Career Center in Greenwood; Clarence Farrington Elementary School 61 in Indianapolis; and Martinsville West Middle School. Check out the pictures below to view some of our favorite Kodak moments of the week! Also, it’s imperative that we  acknowledge our friends at Regions Bank, the Central Indiana Community Foundation, and Franciscan St. Francis Health and everything that they do for us. The moments below wouldn’t have been possible without your support of Kids Riding Bikesâ„ !

Our new interns had the chance to hop on the bikes for the first time at Central Nine!

Challenging kids to fulfill a life full of exercise and health by using the bicycle as an equalizer.

Our Executive Director was able to showcase to a student at Martinsville West Middle School, who has cerebral palsy, how our system works and operates. The student loved being able to be the catalyst for his fellow classmates and it truly was a heartwarming moment.  Creating opportunities for all students, whether it’s with bikes or technology, is what it’s all about!
