It was great to see the youth of Hendricks County moving on two wheels last night!
Our staff had the privilege of getting Kids Riding Bikes® and their families on Tuesday evening at the 2016 Avon National Night Out Against Crime in partnership with Hendricks Regional Health! This years event was held at the Lowe’s parking lot in Avon and was incredibly well-organized and engaging, in addition to being very well-attended. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. In 2015, more than 1,200 people attended the gathering in Avon to get to know the officers and build relationships between the department and the community.
This was our second year serving the community of Hendricks County at the National Night Out event and one that we plan on continuing to be at for several years to come. We can’t thank our partners at Hendricks Regional Health enough for having us out at the event. It was wonderful to enlighten the community of Hendricks County about our partnership with HRH and the significance their partnership with us is having on thousands of youth in Hendricks County!
