In a piece in the Indianapolis Star today, we had the chance to be featured as part of an article talking about the keys of co-working spaces and our roots at the Speak Easy.  For those unfamiliar, Speak Easy had their doors open in February 2012 as the first collaborative workspace serving entrepreneurs in the Central Indiana community.  Members come from a range of industries, such as established businesses with entrepreneurial roots, to new and innovative startups, alike.  The editorial discusses the importance of co-working spaces for businesses to have the opportunity to collaborate and grow, in addition to the resources you need to be able to succeed and prosper.

In the article, Executive Director of Nine13sports, Tom Hanley, discusses what the Speak Easy has meant to Nine13 in terms of growth in the community and resources it has developed.  The support network has bred possibilities that would not have been attainable without The Speak Easy, including adding new staff and opening a second location in Portland, Oregon.

Moreover, our good friend and Executive Director of Speak Easy, Denver Hutt, goes into detail about how fundamental co-working spaces are to aspiring entrepreneurs in understanding the dynamics that are involved with starting their own business.  Also, she expresses how significant the space is in regards to having a place to work with your idea and/or concept.

Starting a business is no easy task and we know it would have been much more difficult without the Speak Easy and everything that it has offered and blessed us with.  Here’s a link to the article for your convenience.  Give it a read and share it on your social media pages!
