This past week sure was busy for the Nine13sports staff as Kids Riding Bikes® returned to action after a week off to rest for fall break. Our school programming this week was delivered to the youth at SENSE Charter School in Fountain Square on the southeast side of Indianapolis. While here, upwards of 450 youth worked to improve their health and fitness on our bicycle simulators and to understand the significance of life skills such as sportsmanship, determination, perseverance, and teamwork.

It sure was a busy week of Kids Riding Bikes!
In addition to getting students active and moving at SENSE, our staff brought our innovative and impactful cycling program at corporate and community events. On Thursday morning, we served the employees of Indianapolis-based Delta Faucet Company at their headquarters in Carmel for their Promotion Fitness event. Additionally, in the evening we served the community of Pike Township at Guion Creek Middle School for their Family Fitness Night. We’ve worked with the youth of Guion Creek MS before and it was heartwarming to hear from students who’ve engaged on our bikes before, as well as to have the opportunity to get new students on two wheels!
This past week was full of success, smiles, and plenty of high-fives among the students and staff. We want to express our gratitude to our partners, sponsors, and supporters who give us the opportunity to mold our youth of today into leaders of tomorrow. Thank you all for helping us to exemplify to our youth that we’re privileged to work with about how important living a healthy and active lifestyle is, and, how many benefits the bicycle presents to them.
