Company Overview:
Lake City Heat Treating specializes in Vacuum Heat Treating of Stainless Steels, Cobalt and Nickel Alloys, and Vacuum Heat Treatable Steels. LCHT also provides Tempering, Cryogenic, and Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) services. In March of 1983 two of our founders traveled to Pennsylvania to purchase a vacuum furnace. This vacuum furnace is still hard at work today and has surpassed 44,000 loads processed.
Our growth has brought us to operate seven vacuum furnaces, two Hot Isostatic Presses and three air furnaces.
In 1995 our capabilities and customer service brought emerging interest from the aerospace industry. Today we are proud to say that we are Madcap Accredited. This approval is required by many aerospace industry manufacturers. It reflects the quality and superior performance delivered by Lake City Heat Treating.
Relationship with Nine13sports:
Nine13sports growing relationship with Lake City Heat Treating originated in August of last year. Because of generous contributions from the aerospace and medical heat treating specialist we’ve had the opportunity to get more youth across the region to learn about fitness and health through the use of stationary bicycle simulators during their physical education class. What’s more, by virtue of our relationships with community-driven organizations such as Lake City we’ve continued to deliver our programming at no cost to the schools we serve.

Lake City serves as our first corporate partner in Indiana outside of the Central Indiana region. One area of focus of Nine13sports that we’ve really concentrated on lately is building relationships that are not just Central Indiana based, but represent the entire state of Indiana. We couldn’t ask for a more warmhearted and thoughtful group of people than the folks at Lake City to begin our journey of creating more relationships outside of Central Indiana!
