Relationship with Nine13sports:
Regions Bank was our first major corporate partner to come on board in April 2014. Given Regions Bank uses their well recognized green bike as part of their advertising and marketing efforts, it was a logical extension to collaborate in a way that brings their message and values to the youth of Indianapolis. “Kids Riding Bikes® powered by Regions Bank,” engaged students on our bicycle simulators at Gambold Preparatory High School, Rousseau McClellan School #91, Central Nine Career Center, and Shortridge International Baccalaureate High School.
In addition to supporting our efforts of getting thousands of Kids Riding Bikes across Central Indiana, our partnership has involved a component of teaching financial education through Regions’ “Scholars & Dollars” curriculum. Regions donated associate volunteer hours to raise financial responsibility to participating students and their families.
It’s been awesome to work with Regions over the past few years and combine the significance of both physical fitness and financial responsibility to thousands of youth in Central Indiana. We want to give a special thanks to Regions and their Indianapolis division for our partnership and everything you’ve done to help us grow. Furthermore, we want to recognize Kim Borges, Area Marketing Manager for Regions, who was a key catalyst in getting our partnership with Regions to fruition.
