One of our amazing corporate partners that came on board in late 2014 was Arbor Homes. They had a desire to approach supporting Kids Riding Bikes from a philanthropic view point and had a specific set of goals in mind: get their employees involved and help support Washington Township Schools.
Both of these goals were awesome for Nine13 staff, we had never had volunteers regularly on site at school programs previously and Washington Township was one of the last township districts we had not served.
Their effort and passion to support our programs served over 900 youth and created 3,600 interactions in Washington Township since January. Nine13 staff had the privilege of working with grades 3-5, special needs students, and demoing our 2nd grade curriculum.
We also had the chance to get to meet a bunch of the amazing folks at Arbor Homes, all of which had a passion to make their community even better.
- a big 4th grade thanks
- staff and students ride together
- working with special needs students means not just talking about the bikes, but the technology
- a classmate helping his peers out
