I’ve been in debug mode after I did something I shouldn’t have last night with our hosting backup and crashed our website. After a very late night all was fine again without issue (I think) but it made me realize that while the focus of most of our photos and stories is about our programming and the kids we work with it isn’t all fun and games. Behind the scenes we all spend a lot of time at our desks and the unofficial equipment HQ that is housed in our Director of Program Operations garage. This is my office that has been where I’ve been cooped up for the past few weeks for what seems like 10+ hours a day 6 days a week working on the website redesign, blog, grant proposals, and all the other day-to-day business related things that are Nine13sports.
We have a running joke between the executive staff about who has the best “Command Operations Center” and I’m sure Ken will want to get a picture of his on this blog to challenge the preemptive picture of mine. I’ll try to get one with better lighting and my three mutts who are my office sidekicks at some point.
And in case you’re wondering “why three monitors?” Tweetdeck on the left takes care of our social media, and currently the center is website control while the right is website display. Typically the right monitor has Outlook as the only thing for email reading and responding.

We weren’t on site last week or this week as we get ready to launch our new programming with our summer partners. If you didn’t see it last week here is the press release about our new relationship with Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis.
