lots more Kids Riding Bikes coming to Indy
The next few months are shaping up to be absolutely awesome for the Nine13 staff. We’ve confirmed 4 days of programming per week that include:
IPS Gambold Prep High School: 2 days per week working with grades 9 and 10
IPS Rousseau McClellan Montessori School 91: 1 day per week working with grades 3-8
IPS Sidener Academy: 1 day per week working with grades 3-8
And we’re waiting to confirm a grant that would bring our programs to a new school in Wayne Township that would bring our programs into schools 5 days per week (a first since we launched in late 2011).
Additionally, we’re on the schedule for programming as part of the Indy 500 Friday Festival on Speedway on May 9th, working with Shelbyville schools on May 10th for a day of community programs, are currently in negotiations to bring programs back to the WTHR Health and Fitness Expo, the IPS Health and Fitness Expo, the Hubbard & Cravens Ride-In, another Yoga, Beer for Bikes, and a whole lot more.
We’ve got media involvement lined up at numerous levels over the next few months as well.
Needless to say, we’ve got lots going on and love seeing the growth that has occurred for the organization. It’s never a quiet moment for us, which means we’re hitting our goals of getting Kids Riding Bikes and getting Indy fit.
